AT my daughters today this just out of the nest baby flew into the window. I held him till he got his head together and as I had my camera in the car to take pictures of the ducklings I got him instead. He sat for a while and then pooped on me and flew.. Love the reflections in his eyes on the double download

What a lucky baby bird Val, fine shot. Unfortunately I had to bury a baby goldfinch today, it hit the window but died straight away.

It was lucky as when we went out the dog was sniffing it and might have hurt it by accident as it was so small. The dogs have learnt to leave baby birds alone with lessons from angry Mummy ducks when they were young.. Such a shame when they die after hitting a window.. I had a seagull hit the window but it flew off leaving a perfect pattern of its body and wings on the window...
