Getting out of the house yesterday headed for McKee Botanical Gardens for a walk, its the closest gardens in the area. Attached are a few photos of some of the paths within the gardens. Originally 80 acres and called McKee Jungle Gardens, its now only 17 total acres and called McKee Botanical Garden but its still a jungle....and HOT, feeling more like the Amazon, maybe they should have called it McKee Sauna & Gardens...
I can imagine this is what Florida originally looked like along its coastline a century ago (without the paths).
Botanical gardens are the best 👍👍🤗💕
Nice shooting. Thanks a bunch

If Its Still a Jungle Out There, we must be the animals?
Thank you for sharing your beautifully captured images of McKee Botanical Garden. I wish I lived closer to enjoy that beauty. Stay safe. Stan
Thank you Susan, Jim, Stan, Blair for looking and the kind comments. Not very crowded (midday and hot) and most are enjoying the gardens AND practicing social distancing.
Impressive set, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mike, you're welcome.
Beautiful but I need the wide open spaces of the west!!
Thank you Jederick, Chief for the comments. Florida, God's Waiting Room?
Agree, love visiting the west and if I had to do it all over again, UT would probably be #1 but living in FL has its advantages and life is good here...Cheers
I remember when our son came home from his first Army tour in Iraq he was sitting quietly and speechless in our back yard. I asked if something was upsetting him and he told me that he was merely “soaking in all the greenery” “it’s so calming” “there’s nothing at all like this in Iraq” “the people in Iraq have never experienced this”
You’re photos prove this about the color green, thanks for sharing.....
