I'm going to take after Jerry and recommend a program I watched last night.

World's Biggest Beasts was on the Smithsonian Channel and was about the 10 largest beasts that roamed the ancient world. I'd never heard of several of them, including the gigantic horsefly!! I don't see that it will be re-played in the next week or so, but if you do see it come on or can get it through streaming, it's well worth watching.

Here is a short video about one of the 10, the largest bird to ever fly.

I misread the title... I saw "Worlds Biggest Breasts".

I wonder what Freud would have made of that.

Smithsonian links are problematic for me. I'll try to catch it on the tube though.

I went to the Smithsonian Channel site and signed in. Under the blurb for this show was a tag, I think it was 'how to watch'. It said sign in through your cable provider if they carry the Smithsonian Channel and had a bunch of cable company tabs - 'Charter Spectrum' was one of the choices and does carry Smithsonian so I clicked it and signed in under Spectrum and up pops a link where I can watch the full 1 hr 32 min of the show.

Put it this way, Abo. When I was on a low carb diet I used to dream of cake.

Addition, from there I was able to access the whole library of Smithsonian Channel shows.

It’s on Smithsonian- on demand. If you have comcast, just search for it. It’s available until Nov. 2025. That should give you enough time.

Hey so did I! I was worried Steve was going to open up a hornet's nest of derision until I read it a little more closely. I guess great (or at least perverted) minds think alike! Anyone else care to admit the same?!

When I went to the Smithsonian website and tried to click onto Spectrum all I got was a blank black page.
Anybody else have that problem?

Well my cable is through Spectrum/Time Warner/Charter (the local cable keeps changing owners) and have an account which is the sign-in I used.

If you have cable and your company carries Smithsonian Channel you click on the tab for your company and sign in. It took me right to the Smithsonian Channel library.
