Is this simply wonderful singing?

This was posted some weeks ago on UHH. I found it mesmerising so much so that I keep revisiting this quite remarkable performance. I remember seeing this lady singing in a bar in Denmark some years ago - oh how she has improved. Surely worthy of a listen (and look) to wake you all up regardless of your favourite music genre. Thanks to the OP for allowing me to experience this. Full screen and full volume my friends.

Thanks for that. Apparently, they sing together quite often. Webber came up with a winner in that play.

Good morning "two",

Absolutely breathtaking !! Your obvious love of Music in all its' forms appears to mirror mine precisely.

I think you would agree that Music ALWAYS gets one through the tough times.

All the best to you and yours - and stay safe.

Terry

Do not mean to burst bubbles, but listen to any recording of Sarah Brightman, or for that matter Sierra Boggess and hear the song the way it was written. It’s all about range and not having to drop an octave to sing the high notes.
I also found the singers histrionics distracting; only exceeded by those sitting on the couch. But then I hate being emotionally manipulated.
Enjoy what you like and check out the alternatives.

And to think she is considered by many to be The Queen of Heavy Metal (aka Nightwish) She has a much better range than some realize. Not the same as Sarah Brightman but still very talented. The others in the group are also quite talented.

Floor Jansen used to be part of the band Nightwish when Tarja Turnen left the band and I saw her in New York City during one of her performance on Broadway. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?pc=COSP&ptag=D011420-N0610A21ABFDD9D88F4162B1F&conlogo=CT3332016&q=floor+jansen+nightwish+youtube&ru=%2fsearch%3fpc%3dCOSP%26ptag%3dD011420-N0610A21ABFDD9D88F4162B1F%26form%3dCONBDF%26conlogo%3dCT3332016%26q%3dfloor%2520jansen%2520nightwish%2520youtube&view=detail&mmscn=vwrc&mid=76D92A8F130C87551FD476D92A8F130C87551FD4&FORM=WRVORC

I was a fan of Tarja Turunen when she played with Nightwish, also saw her in NY on Broadway.
