South Dakota trip

Had to drive out to South Dakota to drop my daughter off at college. Left my computer out there so could not post till now (she mailed my computer back home).
I did not take as many photos as I had hoped but I did get a couple worth sharing. The sun flowers made the trip worth while for me.

We were an hour or two southwest of Aberdeen SD heading home. No shoulder to park on but fortunately, we were driving our Jeep. There were some beautiful bids there too but they did not want their picture taken. They hid in the trees the whole time. Glade you liked the photo.

Nice shots- i have seen Harbors flooded like that, sure makes a mess of the buildings.

I should have loaded the full image for you. The fields were unbelievable. Miles and miles of yellow. breath taking.

My husband and I have been to South Dakota several times for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and the scenery is awesome. I also have shots of the sunflowers.

The farm houses were all above water. These were the only buildings I saw trying to become house boats. I feel bad for the farmers but was very excited about the photo op. Thanks for commenting :-D

Because these were the only buildings under water, I first thought that it was intentional. Still wonder if this was done by the farmers mistake. There is a pond (lake?) used for irrigation only a couple hundred yards from the barns. Something went wrong somewhere. Thanks for looking.
