Just ran across this Blue Moon Camera Store. Has anyone done business with this place? Would you go back?

On Ebay or store in Oregon?
I have had several students purchased equipment from them. None have had any problems. Note: the gear is sold from consignment on an "as is" condition. They are not like KEH or B&H in which the equipment is owned by the store and checked out and backed by the store. That being said. I have no problems with Blue Moon. Do your research and ask questions. That is if you are talking about Blue Moon Store in downtown Portland Oregon.
Yes , I was looking at a website for the one in Portland, Oregon. Never had ran across it before.
They are well known here in Oregon for having anything old and mechanical, from manual typewriters to cameras. You won't find electronics there. PS, you can negotiate the price on some of their offerings.
That's a nice name. I'd be tempted.
FYI: The physical location of the store (when it reopens) is not in downtown Portland, but rather in North Portland on N. Lombard St. in the St. Johns business district.
Just took a look at their prices for cameras. The value of my collection of TLRs has doubled! $550 for a Yashica-Mat 124G is a bit stratospheric IMO.

I have bought stuff from them since they opened. They are actually in St Johns on North Lombard St. Every time I get back into St Johns I visit the store. I live some 100 miles south of them now and there is NOTHING down this way.

I have a Yashica-mat 124 camera. If they would give me $550.00 for it I would probably sell it.

Stan, I bought my 124Gs at the base exchange (I was in the Air Force) for $80 each in about 1972.

You do realize that they need to make a profit on every sale?
I do business with them for my pin hole camera and developing the film which is 6x17 and no one else, that I know of, will develop that size. They have always been prompt in developing and offer many options.
Someone gave me a Minox Spy Camera. I was able to purchase a roll of film from them and had it processed an prints made. Expensive experiment. Very specialized. Good results.
