A rose and a squirrel

I was taking close-ups of flowers with my 100 mm macro lens (see the first picture) when I noticed the squirrel was posing for me (see the second picture). I quickly took a picture of the squirrel, correctly figuring it would not hang around while the macro was swapped for the 70-300 zoom. Consequently, I ended up cropping the picture rather severely, but I still like it. Any thoughts? Thanks for looking.

Your rose is lovely, Allan, and although I'm not a squirrel's most devoted fan, I'll have to admit this is one cute squirrel portrait! I'd leave the crop as it is.

Thanks to all for the comments. I should admit that I am not particularly fond of squirrels. It goes back to the days when we owned a stand-alone house (before we moved to Manhattan) and a squirrel family made our attic its home. It took two visits from the critter control guy before we we able to effectively evict them. But this one was irresistible. The question remains -- would he (or she) ask permission before moving into someone's attic?
