I recently watched two extreme action movies. The first one was "Priest." I guess it was set some time in the future after humans had defeated the vampire empire, but it is making a comeback. No laughs here. Netflix

The second one was "Dead Snow 2," obviously following in the footsteps of "Dead Snow." This was a very funny movie, and it was intended to be funny. It's a Norwegian film shot in English. Nazi zombies are terrorizing Iceland (I think). Fortunately, help is available in the form of the Zombie Squad, a young man and two young women from the USA. If you want to just let yourself go and laugh at the absurdity, look for this one on Prime.

Another good (relative term) Nazi zombie movie is from Lithuania, "War of the Dead," also on Prime. The star is an English actor playing an American soldier. For some reason, Germans, Russians, Americans, and Finns are involved in a war. Everyone seems to the enemy of everyone else. They are attacked by the results of Nazi experiments to prevent people from dying. It's not funny, but it is imaginative.

EDIT: Here's another one about Nazi zombies, "Bunker of the Dead," on Prime. As you probably know, when you watch a movie, Amazon shows you a dozen or more similar movies it has available.

Jerry, there are times when I'm glad I don't have a TV.

I have a TV but we only watch old classics.
And I quit watching the news many years ago.

I only watch non-PC stuff. It is getting impossible to find. Every lead is now female, gay, black, gay black and female or transgender. I can't take it anymore.

Absolutely ridiculous. Ask any actor in any of those categories if they are getting more work than straight white males.

Your analogy is ludicrous.

Not as ludicrous as saying there aren't any straight white male leads any more.

It's how I end my day, and it's good for a lot of laughs. Besides that, I subscribe to The Great Courses Plus for just ten dollars a month. It has thousands of educational courses in all subject areas. That alone is worth having a TV.

There are three good movies with straight white male leads. As well as most of the actors.
Watch "The Expendables", with Stallone in the lead..

Jerry, you have been in doors way too long, time to get outdoors and get fresh air, sun and blue sky.

Meaning you prefer movies without straight white male leads, or are there only three movies you've ever liked? As for the The Expendables, I've seen many better action movies. As far as Stallone movies, I liked Rocky, First Blood and Rambo better.

Dang! How do you guys do that? It's like talking to a teenage female snowflake.
So:
I'm easy, and easily entertained.
"The Expendables", like "John Wick" are comic book inspired, and may bend the physics of reality at will.
AND I just received the three movie Expendables" set, just watched them again, this time all together.
AND these three were amusing in parts, unlike the ones you listed.
I like bad horror and scifi movies. I get my youngish progeny laughing, and cheering, for the bad guys/ critters.
Tho I also like (prefer) non-straight, some-white, non-male action leads in non-clothed NSFW roles.
Anything else?

Hey! All straight actors had to bend to fit the smaller screens!

There are some good "Gay-plotation" movies out there. And you can watch between your fingers. Just open them wider when the music goes more expansive.

If you like zombie movies, I recommend two others.
Train to Busan. On Netflix. This is a zombie apocalypse movie set in China, with subtitles. That is a very hard sell, I understand, but I now consider it my favorite of this genre. You really grow to care about the principle characters.

Shaun of the Dead. This is a British zombie comedy (!). Funny as hell, and bloody as hell. I don't know where you can find it.

Weird how this genre has caught on. Maybe one day a Bollywood zombie movie?
