Beautiful,
Upon viewing I was going to say that I really liked the 1st one.
Then I viewed them in the downlead version, and photo #2 is really interesting downloaded.
So through further thought....both of them are pretty darn good.

The second catches my attention for the composition and lovely details without appearing over-sharpened. Very pretty!

Tom, Johnny, and Linda, thank you for the comments. Linda, I think I had originally over-sharpened the second one, but then turned it down. I try (not always successfully) to avoid over-sharpening. In any event, your comment was appreciated.

I have to go with the second image, the first seems over processed?

Rathyatra and Curmudgeon, thank you for your comments. Curmudgeon, is it that the first is over-sharpened, or is there something else that bothers you? I can understand if it is not possible to articulate what the problem is, but if you could be more specific, it would be helpful. Thanks again.

I'll try Allan. The first one seems unreal somehow. The flower is over sharpened to a point it seems, in DL, to almost be a silk flower. The leaves, to me, just seem wrong. I know this is not going to help you but, in DL and more so in DDL, the whole picture feels like I'm looking at it through a psychedelic haze. Sorry, just a subjective feeling on my part

Jack, this is helpful. I just looked at it again, and I think it is oversharpened. In addition, I did turn up the saturation some, and maybe that made the flower look unrealistic. Thanks and have a good weekend.
