Long-Running Reality TV Show "Cops" Canceled

The long-running reality TV show "Cops" has officially been canceled by the Paramount Network.
The first episode of the show's 33rd season was scheduled to premiere on Monday, but the show has been put "on hold" since before June. The decision to put the program on hold was made when protests first began over the k*****g of G****e F***d.
On Tuesday, the Paramount Network announced their plans to cancel the show altogether, KFI reports.
"Cops" debuted on the then-new Fox network in 1989. It remained on Fox until 2013 when it moved to Spike TV, which became the Paramount Network.
Another police reality show, "Live PD," has been removed from the schedule on the A&E Network, despite being the number one cable show on Friday and Saturday nights.

Only ignorant people watch cops showing off on tv. Most of those people are the type that like to watch cops murder protesters.

HBO Max is redoing Looney Tunes and removing Elmer Fudd's shotgun and Yosemite Sam's pistols. And replacing them with scythes. WTF?
I thought a h****r with a shotgun was the only acceptable gun owner to the left.

One of the things I liked about watching these shows was seeing how ignorant of the law many LEOs are. Pulling some poor soul on his bicycle over and searching his backpack with no probable cause whatsoever. Telling onlookers that if they don't go inside their house and stop watching the arrest that they would be arrested. Demanding ID from passengers in cars (in most states people must identify themselves but passengers are not required to show ID). And of course arresting young black men with tiny quantities of marijuana.
Of course, these shows ALSO show all the a**holes out there that the cops have to deal with every day.
