Was driving down a grid road one evening and spotted this little guy. Didn't know at the time what it was as we never see these birds. When I stopped to get a picture he struck this pose to try and trick me into believing he was not there. He did not move at all.

Very nice , but you should post original for us to check out the beautiful details on this rarely seen bird .

Great shot of a rarely seen bird. These birds have been known to stand at the edges of tule patches and sway as the wind blows, further enhancing their camouflage.

That's a beauty!
They will make themselves all verticle in hopes of blending in with the tall grass they are commonly seen in.
They will also sway slightly if there is a breeze blowing to mimic the movement of the tall weeds.

Great shot of a rairly seen bird. Like Gold winger said hit store original when posting so we can view it in full screen.
