About a year ago I picked up a used Pentax Auto 110 with its “normal” 23 mm f/2.8 lens and its “telephoto” 50 mm f/2.8. I was amazed at how good an image can be captured on 110 film with a quality SLR as opposed to the toys that were mostly sold for the so-called Pocket Instamatic format. Recently I bought the f/2.8 20mm-40mm zoom for the Pentax Auto 110 from a fellow hogger. I tried it today and it is a perfect walk around lens for that handy pocket camera. I’m using Lomography Tiger color negative film. I don’t know if any other brands are available new in 110. I had good luck with their Orca B&W. Anyone else using this little gem of a camera, or any other precision 110 (Minolta made a good one back in the day)? I’ll report on the results after I finish the roll and ship it off to thedarkroom.com.

Minolta made a 110 SLR but with a zoom and the lens is not removable.
