Did the SARS-CoV-2 virus arise from a bat coronavirus research program in a Chinese laboratory? Very possibly.

This is a long article; here is an introductory paragraph. There is some preliminary text that seems somewhat political.

The circumstantial evidence for a lab escape. By way of introduction, there are two virology institutes in Wuhan to consider, not one: The Wuhan Center for Disease Control and Prevention (WHCDC) and the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). Both have conducted large projects on novel bat viruses and maintained large research collections of novel bat viruses, and at least the WIV possessed the virus that is the most closely related known virus in the world to the outbreak virus, bat virus RaTG13. This virus was isolated in 2013 and had its genome published on January 23, 2020. Seven more years of bat coronavirus collection followed the 2013 RaTG13 isolation.

The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists was started at the close of WW2 by a group of physicists and chemists who worked on the atomic bomb project. They have, of course, passed away, and the organ they created and left behind has earned a Sterling Reputation. The author of this report that has 49 references is:

I would like to see the Illegal Worldwide Trade in Wildlife eliminated because of this Virus, But in My Opinion it came from a Biological Warfare Lab,,,call those level 4 Labs Worldwide anything You want but that is what they really are.....

With the Biological Warfare Labs operating in Russia and the US for Decades and now China, gain of function is just a fancy term to weaponize a virus or make a virus more deadly....One would have to think the Corona Virus has been well studied and documented and weaponized....but unless you are insane as you genetically engineer a new deadly strain, you also at the same time come up with a vaccine or an antibody treatment for it in case you have to use it on the Enemy or the Enemy uses it on You....My guess is there is already a vaccine or antibody treatment for this Virus and it is being withheld .....

The latest info is implying that the virus was first showing up in China in October. There are satellite photos showing an increase in cars parked at hospitals and an increase in Google type searches on symptoms.
