Juvenal Red-tail hawks about a week out of the nest. Taken from more than 100 yds away with a 5dsr, 100-400 Mkll + 1.4 TC mklll at 560mm iso around 800 on an overcast day and heavily cropped The shutter speed is limited by the iso range as minimum aperture is f8. If you zoom in to 100% you will see noise. I am sneaking out onto the golf course to capture these Juvenal Rt's at work.

You may be unlucky most of the time but you were lucky that day. Great action by these young hawks. I enjoyed viewing these shots.
