This photo was taken in Millennium Park in Chicago about 10 years ago. For me, I sometimes feel that the right caption can enhance the image by setting up an expectation for the viewer. Obviously, I chose a paraphrase of the movie title "Singing in the Rain". I thought "Sneaking in the Rain" was a good play on the kid approaching his friends around the corner.
I like this. These kids look like they're having a blast--non-violent, non-political. Just a helluva lot of fun getting soaked. Crop? Yes, a bit, from the top right.
I'm with you on the crop. However, this was one of those spur of the moment captures with no time to set up the shot. This was the best I could do with what I had with the original shot.

I agree it's a good spur-of-the-moment. You can still crop a bit, not much, to focus on the subjects. The kid in the red really helps tie down the moment.
