I've heard some negative comments about them on the Hog but I used them a couple times and never have had a problem

Assuming the camera you mention is the RX10IV, the current price for the U.S. model is $1599.99. Abe’s of Maine’s price is lower because it’s a grey market camera, and the price of $789.00 seems suspect to me. I would avoid this. Abe’s of Maine is known to be a bait and switch outfit. Stay away.

Bad, worse, and awful. Bait and switch. Gray market merchandise. Unbundling the stuff that’s supposed to be in the box, then charging extra for it.
Adorama, B&H, KEH (used gear), and MPB (also used gear) are reputable. So is Roberts.

Everybody want a sale! However, I have heard the rumblings of other photographers here on the HOG! I have never done business with them so I won’t write anything negative.
My favorite store is B & H in New York City. The customer service is impeccable. The floor staff will ask you a ton of questions to find out what you want and need. You won’t be sold something you will not use. Going into the store is mesmerizing as I live in Brooklyn. You will even love the dishes filled with candy. On line, I have never experienced a problem. I always get my order on time and intact. The price quoted is exactly what I pay. Please go to a place that you will always want to go back and buy more gear!

Too good to be true? RUN, don't walk. They hook suckers with their prices. Stick with a legitmate retailer like B&H or Adorama.

You don't have to run, you just have to remember "if it's too good to be true, then it's too good to be true" and decide for yourself. If you believe the possible savings is worth the risk of being nickel and dimed to death and end up paying as much or more for less in the end, not to mention the aggravation they will subject you, then best of luck to you.
