Thanks for looking twitcher. Both of these kittens are female, however the father of these kittens is a calico. The calico kitten looks just like her dad and dad is a huge cat.

I've always though being calico was a sex-linked characteristic in cats. If so, a male calico is very rare indeed.

Just looked it up on the internet.It says about 1 out of 3000 calico could be a male but most are sterile. Now that being said,this big old male calico might of been wasting his time when he mated with my calico cat. We have 4 or 5 male cats wandering around here so anyone of them could be the daddy if this male calico is sterile.

Very nice shots. I miss the days when we had cats and kittens around. Just keep old Tom away from those nice young kittens!!
