LR magnifying glass minus >:( Part 2

No joy here yet. I've still got the minus. Tried the right click on 1:1, using the grid view and space bar, tried hovering over full size -- did get an arrow that disappeared as soon as it appeared. Still the dang minus sign.

In Develop Module, in Navigator panel, what is your ratio set to? 1:8 and 1:16 gave me a minus sign. You might check that out.

You’ll never believe this! On an a whim, I went to another folder and, Voila!, the plus was back. Went back to the previous folder, clicked on the image I’d had problems with and there was the minus again! WTH? I will say that the photos in the folder had been imported from a PC, had been edited using Picasa and all were jpegs. Thank you all for your time and thoughtful responses!
