I am thinking of making a calendar for 2021. The subject will be "THIS CHINA NOW". I have been to China over seven times to photograph the life of the Chinese today.I am a retired US Army photographer/photo journalist. However because of the present state of China today I may not be able to go back to China this year. So I decided to make a calendar instead of a photo book for now. Have any of you Ugly Hedgehog's have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks guys in advance.

I second Costco calendars.
I have used them for many years and their premium calendar is ALWAYS first-rate quality
printed on very heavy 11.5 x14" stock. I like that you can have the picture printed from edge to edge
and you can personalize each month with birthdays.

That’s a brilliant suggestion and especially using Costco!

Yes, making a calendar is a good idea.

My Canon printer comes with software that makes calendars. I've used it a couple of times. You enter into the blanks all the days you want listed on the calendar, add the pictures, and print. The software does all the work.

Those are all good suggestions. Keep in mind - some of the Costcos are dropping their photo service. I did some years ago after my Alaska trip and printed my own. I had Staples or another office store do the spiral binding. I made about 30 for family and friends and as I recall the binding and shipping was around $150.
For paper for printing I used 13x19 card stock. Came out really nice though maybe a glossy paper would
a little better, but I didn't know where to find it other than photo paper which could have gotten really expensive.

I love Costco for calendars. It`s all done online and shipped to me or my gift recipients.

I have used MPIX to make our yearly calendars for Christmas gifts. Fast, excellent quality in paper and printing. The interface is easy to use as well. Good luck!

there's a program called calendar creator if you're interested in doing it yourself - i've been using it for years - easy to use and does a great job

I use the create calendar option in PSE, and print my own on my inkjet printer, on double sided, 50 lb matte photo paper from Red River. I have Staples add a white cardboard back, a clear plastic cover, a hanging hole, and spiral binding. I only do 8 a year; If I did many more, I'd have someone else print it. The printing is time consuming and you have to pay attention to what you're doing. Family seems to enjoy getting them.
