Friends woke this morning to this precious little beauty on their back porch.
Wow, she is just a baby. Thanks for sharing it.

Any sign of Mama? I didn't realize they were that small.
Looks like there is a squirrel in the grass? If so, you got a two for one shot🙂.
The mother is likely near and will retrieve it. Normally the mother leaves them for periods and they normally stay where left but that is an odd place. Hope mother is OK!
Found one under the car in our drive. Luckily I didn’t hit it when I backed up. He moved to a shadier part of the drive and stayed there all day. That night mom came and got him. Looked even smaller than this one.

Love seeing the fawns so thanks for sharing one.

The mothers leave them in what they perceive to be a safe place while they go forage for food.

So the friends should feel honored to have had this one left on their back porch.
