The dead tree caught my attention at Bryce Canyon in Utah. Bryce was our favorite of all the parks.

Bryce is fabulous always. The sky here is fabulous anywhere. Not sure about placing the tree smack-in-the-middle of such a beautiful scene, dividing the scene in two and making the eye try to "pick-a-side". I would have put the tree along either the left or right "Rule of thirds" points. I think that would have made an already fabulous image even more so. IMHO.
