RNot very good..."But I Tried"! [Part 2 & Final]

I posted my first bird shot yesterday in "Part 1" of my "VERY HUMBLING" attempt at photographing birds, so I

won't bore you with redundancy in the story. But basically, as I was photographing a mother feed her baby on

a rock, a starling landed on the same rock with the fledgling finch. {The mother was in the grass at the bottom of the rock, they almost collided in mid air} The arrival of the starling really frighted the baby...thus the reason for the young birds actions. Like yesterday, once again, I was lucky my eye was in the VF when the starling arrived. {PURE LUCK}

When I looked at this photo..."I just had to add the title to it"!

My children are grown now, and have young ones of their own. (5 -8yrs. old) They loved this title!!!!!!!!!!

I love this art, but I can see it takes a lot of PRACTICE & LOTS OF PATIENTS. "NOT TO MENTION THE AMOUNT

OF SHOTS ONE TAKES"! These small birds are really fast. I just was in the right spot at a very lucky time.

Thanks,
Boone.

Do not know what caused this. I did size them at 8x10, at 70 resolution. (I think I should have sized them at 150+ for the resolution) I get the same thing on download??

Thanks for the look. Sorry if I didn't do the post well.

Thanks,
Boone.

These are great images, as well as your titles! Are you sure these are your first?

Great attempt, but you forgot to match the shadows.

Nice results, but I wouldn't worry about adding titles. Beauty (and meaning) is in the eye of the beholder.

John Sh,
I am "Almost Totally New To Shooting Birds"...."But Not New To Photography....Or Other Photographers"!!!

As I said; I am almost new to photographing Birds, but I did not for the life of me understand your comment...

"Nice attempt, but you forgot to match the shadows"???

How would I do that??? And what did you mean by the comment???

I did take the original {SOC} into PSE and: Cropped, High Pass Filter, Cleaned Rock of "Bird Doo Doo",

Framed, AND Titled. And then Posted. That is all that I think needed to be done!

What can I do with the SHADOWS??? I am new to this Genre of the Art, so if you could show me what you

meant by "Matching the Shadows" I would be very thankful to you.

I love to learn, so I am attaching the originals (SOC) so that you can take them and show me what you

"Meant by you comment"???

I would be so appreciative for your help.

I thank you for your attention in this concern. I , as others, are awaiting your reply.

Please let me know about the "SHADOWS" as I really am trying to learn.

Thank you so much for your looking, and I look forward to your advice!!!

Thanks,

Boone.
