Full moon in Delicate Arch

This is an old pic I took back in spring of 2010 at Arches NP. It was taken with a cheap P&S camera and before I knew anything about photography. While watching sunset at Delicate Arch I noticed the moon rising in the distance. I thought it would be a neat shot to get the moon in the arch. So I crawled into the bowl below the arch and climbed up the steep slope on the opposite side until getting them both lined up. I prefer having a person under the arch to show a sense of scale. I took another pic with nobody in the pic and I just didn't like it as much. This was the picture that started to get me interested in photography. Every year since I've tried to learn a little more. Hope you enjoy.

Nice shot. Darken the blue by about 3 stops though.

It is not the equipment, it is who stands behind the equipment - good work, Matt!

Thanks Fotoartist. Your right about the sky. I did some quick adjustments before posting the photo and completely overlooked darkening the sky.

Thanks Bob. It helps to be lucky! I felt like I always had a decent eye for composition. Learning to shoot manual, shoot raw and then post process my pictures took awhile longer to learn.
