Looks like they are practicing social distancing to me.
People forget a husband and wife can set with a child,
Three sisters can set together , They live together so
if the different groups stay apart, how is that not social
distancing?
I see in Colorado an officer gave a father a ticket saying
he wasn't social distancing when he was playing catch with
his daughter and there was no one else around

Our county here in Florida never closed the beaches - they closed beach parking and closed the beaches to non-residents. This prevented the crowded beach scenes seen elsewhere, but still allowed us to take a walk on the beach. Thank goodness. People need to get out and get some exercise.

Have another look at the photograph, It appears from your description that you know all the people in the photo, which I just do not believe, you have got your numbers wrong. I also do not believe the Colorado story, about the officer and the girl....See below, all recent photographs of idiots breaking the safe distance rules.......Helping to spread the killer Corona Virus.......No excuse at all for this irresponsible idiotic. behaviour.

If you protect yourself you don't have to worry what someone else is doing unless it is some nut pulling peoples masks and gloves and what other ppe they may be wearing. This Covid-19 is not like the bombing of Hiroshima that killed between 90-146,000 people instantly. They did not have the opportunity to wear PPE's and even if they did it would have done no good. Borrowing a line from FDR "Only Thing We Have to Fear Is Fear Itself". Cover your willy before you dilly.

The only surefire way to protect yourself is to wear a respirator and goggles. How did FDR's advice go over to the soldiers landing on the Normandy beachheads?
