Yes it is insulting to vets something like this.
Makes a parody of those who served and sacrificed.
Agree completely. Right up there with the so-called local para military militias who wear military style clothing, boots and rank (in red) and carry AR-15s. If you want to dress like a soldier, than join up - Uncle Sam may just have a job for you. You may even get deployed and shot at, and then you’ll get a real taste of soldiering.
I think I'd rather have the obviously fake military uniform, rather than a real one from the Fort Leavenworth stockaid. I once photographed a rapper and he had several similar outfits --or he could be a third-world dictator--just pick one!
Obviously something someone invented. One one side of the collar he’s a brigadier general, on the other he’s a private first class. The items in his sergeant’s chevron look like the figment of someone’s imagination or were taken from some foreign military rank insignia. Put together, with the three ranks displayed, he’s either running the whole show, following the whole show, or, as a sergeant, telling the general what he should do to run the whole show. Pretty funny.

Just like CNN and MSNBC.
The live interviews on CNN are real. Punct.
Looks like a "civil disobedience solder" uniform. Strips on sleeve indicate probably master sargent.

Amazing you and so many others missed what this is about.
I dunno, I think It's supposed to be fashion.
Imho Archi, you don't worry about it... UNTIL
a civilian, particularly a civilian who
was never a soldier, sailor, or airman
wears a real military uniform.

I am sure that has already happened lots of times.
Many real former military men need the money and many civilians like to play dress-up,
and there are lots of places that are happy to buy low from the former and sell high to the latter.

And as long as they remove the rank, name and organization patches, no problem.

I saw this on Judge Judy.
Not sure what branch or rank here.
Can anyone please help with the branch or rank?
Thx.
Self inflicted, Combat could be his name, there are lots of strange names out there these days. There are lots of strange creatures out there these days. Probably one of those " I almost joined " types. Anybody's guess.

Of course it is not a real military uniform.
I would say branch is idiot with stolen valor and rank is multiple and fake
I have seen some obvious fakes (even on military bases) and, like this, they are usually laughable

Maybe his name is John Combat......
I had a patient once whose first name was "General". Ya never know!
When I was at Ft. Gordon I heard of a clerk, a private, whose name was Majakovski. When he answered the phone it sounded like "Major Kovski here!"
Definitely not a military or police uniform. In the military a star on the collar indicates a Brigadier General. In a police uniform this would be reserved for the commander. He has chevrons on his sleeve. Chevrons (stripes) indicate an NCO. This guy is wearing a fashion statement. BTW the way to remember the rank of a general is the saying Be my little general. Brigadier (1 star), Major (2 star), Lieutenant (3 star) and General of the Army(4 star).

It's obvious - he's a junior sergeant general airborne combat cadet in Farrakhan's new world order navy.
