Morning Hard Light

I saw this on my morning walk yesterday.

My study here was shape and form and balance and of course most important, the light.

I'm interested in your choice of crop. Did you consider cropping the right side closer to the leaf and having it form more of a diagonal from the lower right corner? Just wondering. With these shots, it is all about the photographer's vision and preference. Just wondering if you had worked on different crops. The lighting is near perfect for this. I really like that a lot.

I tried a couple framings, but I felt it worked best with a square frame.
