I think it is very unique, very good image that, to my mind would be a serious contender in any landscape photo competition.

Vegetation is definitely part of the landscape.

The background that's visible through the branches is brighter and hazier than the parts you can see directly. That jumped out at me. The judges may see that as a negative.

In my mind, this is a landscape. I learned that landscapes should have an item of interest in the foreground. Several judges in contests I've entered seem not to have gotten that directive, so be prepared if they consider the tree a distraction, even though your photograph is much better with it than it would be without.

Thank you to everyone that replied. I think I’ll go ahead and enter it. It was the almost pastel color pallette that drew me to it.
