Photo Gallery Process

When I post a photo to the Gallery it will initially show up in the Upcoming Topics Section. Then sometimes it appears in the Photo Gallery the next day and sometimes it doesn’t. It happened again with a recent post no where to be found in the Photo Gallery. Anyone have the same experience? What determines if a photo appears in the Photo Gallery? Thanks in advance for comments.

All topics posted to Gallery are there. They are shown in order by time/date of "last comment" so the list is constantly changing.
You are referring to the emailed digest. On May 24, there were 110 new topics posted to Photo Gallery. The digest on the 25th and every day contains only 35.
Timing is part of the reason for inclusion, but much has to do with how many comments the topic received on the day it was posted.

Here is the way people can view the site and choose for themselves which topics to see:
1. Log into UHH. Go to "all sections" at the bottom of this page and click "subscribe" to any forum of interest.
2. Now, whenever you log into UHH just select the "newest topics" link at top of any page.
3. In a single list (rather than by forum) will be - in real time - the topics as they are posted.
4. You can also view "newest pictures" for a quick browse, though embedded photos (such as from flickr) don't show up there. And that feature only goes back a couple of days.
Tips:
- You can build a "buddy" list and filter the newest topics by that list if you desire.
- You can use "watched topics" to keep track of comments if you prefer that over emailed notifications.

And members can also click on the "Help" link at the top of the page and read through the different items including the Frequently Asked Questions.
