It's may and I've seen 5 Odonates this spring! Dr. Hal White at Univ. of Delaware said that this is the worst year for dragon and damselfly emergence in 49 years! Sooo, here is a set without dragonflies. Whaaaaat?

So true but I've cancelled so many surveys and meetings. I was really looking forward to a meeting at Florida State in Tallahassee last month. That survey would have produced some very interesting species.

Chicken-of-the-Woods does taste like chicken if you get them early. The older they get the tougher they get then you need to eat the outer edges.
