Is that the one that activists have been wanting to tear down? So glad it's still in place.

Yep Sue - Here's my post from a few years ago. Best, chase

We've been to Washington DC two times, in 2006 (Feb....chilly) and April 2018 (Cherry Blossom time!). Today, being Memorial Day, has found me reviewing some of those photos. Here's some of my touching remembrances from those unforgettable visits. Bob

Pg 4 - Beautifully and tastefully captured and shared, Bob!

Pg 6 - Good image and excellent example on how to properly display a flag when on a flat building or wall. The "union," or blue section, should always be in the upper left corner.

Pg 10 - Nice series, Lesley!

Did you know that in 1874 (first image), the flag had 37 stars?

p.4 Straight and stiff, those flags... The Korean Memorial is unique - and it spooks me.

Hi PAT......the wind was controlling those flags and I was probably waiting for them to be really flying. The 1st photo shows more variety in the flags. Actually had 4 shots to complete the circle, but felt 3 were plenty. I agree that The Korean Memorial is a little spooky! I didn't share the reflection photo because it has that look to it, but will add it here. Sorry.....but it was interesting when we visited.
