I am trying to have the camera put a date and or time stamp on the pictures. I can't figure out how to do this, the book doesn't seem to be any help.
Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks Rex, but from further research I find that this camera does not have that option. For the one ID picture I need I will use an old Fuji that my son left here last summer. It is just a basic point and shoot but for one picture it will do the job. This picture just needs to be for identification of a puppy, no quality needed.

Thanks St3v3m, I will give that a try, this has been quite a project for one stupid picture. I should just take a picture of the puppy peeing on today's newspaper, it works in the movies.

Thank YOU!!! I have the advanced book but not the basic book and there have been times when the advanced book refers to the basic book and ??? This is great, however I don't know if I will live long enough to learn to properly use this camera.
