Ditto Micro, Just because you have the equipment/technology to stalk someone does not justify doing it. Plus, I heard that the photographer was a female. Shame on her! I hope they prosecute.

For those of us that don't get paid for publicity pics its easy...the line is very wide. It only gets thinner when your electric bill is due...I have a friend that photographs very famous people for a living...he says he now has no conscience. I feel bad for him.

The line might be defined by the size of your wallet. I understand that camera systems to capture good images at 1/2 mile range can cost $20,000 and more. A demonstration of the equipment needed was on the TODAY Show this morning, and is online at today.com, topic "Ex-paparazzo shows how long lens captured Kate pics."

I would say what that photographer did in the case with Kate was wrong. She has an expectation of privacy especially since she was on vacation and was at a private location.

Wrong. Needs to be stopped. But how? You can arrest and fine but there will be underground shots despite this.

Simple , If you dont wants your " bits " photographed , then keep them clothed . Technology comes at a price . The photographer makes a living doing this . It just happened. So what , In Europe at the beach everyone is topless . who cares ?

If she would have acted like a lady and left her clothes on this would not be a story
