Found 8 Buck Pronghorns today and they didn't seem to mind me much as long as I kept my distance! Most of these were taken from the driver side window! At one point I had to switch to the passenger seat but they turned and went back to the other side!
Knowing how skittish they guys can be, I have to know what lens were you using.

Tamron 150-600MM but they came within 100 feet of my car as long as I stayed inside and shot out the window! As soon as I got out they were gone in a flash!
I have that same lens. See some of these gugs between Synder, Texas, and Ruidoso, New Mexico, on a
fairly regular basis.
Just bought a Nikon 600 mm F4 and will be using it for first time today. Pretty exciting.
That photo of littlebiddie reminds me of one that was taken of me in about 1948. Probably my all-time favorite of me.
Back in the early 1980s I went antelope hunting on a big ranch up in northern New Mexico. The place was dividied into pastures of about 25,000 acres each. Treeless. Lots of antelope. And it certainly was a challenge to get near them. A 600 mm lens would have helped at that time.
My picture was taken in 1951 and a fond memory for sure!
The first image spins my wheels!
Thanks for posting.
Excellent photos, all. The first buck looks to be about 15 1/2 inches. Nice buck.

Quite special. They are not native to our area so thanks for sharing yours.
