It would depend on where it was going. It is not heavy so I do not think it would be a lot.

I have the newer 1.4x Teleplus Pro 300 for Nikon and it is recommended to not use with focal lengths shorter than 100mm. I have used it on an AF f/2.8 300mm lens with mixed results...
Best advice? pony up the cost of good fast glass for your D7200... it's a wonderful tool, I use it to shoot league soccer with both a 300mm f/2.8 and 200-500mm f/5.6 Both optics work superbly on this body.

Thank you for your great advice, thomas902. Adorama has one used for $29 so I might try it in the interim as my budget is quite low right now. If I like it, I may save for the better glass. Good ideas.
