Once again your post has sent me off to learn more. Apparently, the web silk from a Madagascan Golden Orb Weaver, which shines as gold in the sun, was used to make a cloak which was displayed in the Victoria and Albert museum, London in 2012. Also being so strong it has been used for fishing nets by hunters in New Guinea.

Anyway, it would be hard to find a million of these spiders. Shame you don't wear a cape anymore
