The Organ Pipe Cactus is native to a small area in South Eastern Arizona, although it is common in Mexico. Its delicately shaded blossoms makes it, in my opinion, even more attractive than the more famous Night Blooming Cereus.

Do they bloom regularly? I don't know much about these plants; but I thought that they only bloom when conditions are optimal. I could be wrong. Either way, interesting flower and nice capture. Erich

At Organ Pipe Cactus NP the bloom regularly. Major pollinators are bats. Blooms last about 24 hours. In the neighborhood where they have been transplanted they go for years without blooming.
