With the plethora of lens adapters that allows many lenses to be mounted on different camera bodies, have you come across a combination that you like? Mine so far is a Canon F1.8 "M" mount lens on a Sony A6000. The lens seems to have a slight yellow cast to the eye, but I haven't found any referenes to it being radioactive. Still, I love the B&W rendering it gives.

Yeah. My 50mm (1940's collapsible) Leitz Summicron on one of my mirrorless Fuji bodies. (Having an extension tube or two is sometimes interesting, too.) The list goes on forever after that.

I've shot almost exclusively in 2020 with an FD 24L on a Sony a7II via a Metabones adapter.

I have about 14 vintage or old (30 years) lenses I use on my Fujis. Just put a Nikon AF 75-300 on my XH1. Stunning lens. I like all of them. But I don't use them enough!

I’ve been having fun with some Rokkor lenses on a Sony A-7r iii.
A 58mm and 200mm being kinda favored.

Ricoh GXR - Leica adapter and Nikon on top of that, works wonderfully well with all my old Leica and Nikon glass.

I have been using Canon EF lenses on my Fuji X-T cameras using an adapter that allows using AF and other features.
I also use Minolta AF lenses on my Sony A7II using Sony's adapter that also utilizes AF.
Just a fun way to try out other lenses without spending a whole lot of money.
Minolta made some really nice lenses in their day.

I am again using my 1930's Leica E39 screw lenses on the Sony body. There is no eye-level VF, so the 'Peak-Focus ' is very useful. The oldie lenses (90 years) give a good account of themselves.

I like using my Canon EF lenses on my Canon M50 body. I have both the EF to M adapter and the EF to M speed booster; it turns my APS-C into a virtual Full Frame.

This is fascinating to me. Obviously you all prefer the "look" of the results and put up with the inconveniences of which there are usually many. So if I ever do go to a say Nikon Z body even tho physically there seems quite an imbalance of both looks and balance in shooting, it seems there may well be useful even desirable results using their adapter that is worth the downsides of keeping all my old Nikkor and Zeiss lenses ? You all obviously put up with even more challenges, often losing autofocus and auto exposure...

I have over 100 lenses, from old cine lenses, to projection lenses, to special purpose industrial and medical lenses, to scientific lenses, with a bunch of vintage camera lenses for various formats from the early 20th century to the 1970s, all adapted to my Sony A7R2. I love the various ways in which they render. I have too many favorites to count.

To Cany143: That 50mm Collapsible Summicron Leica lens is incredible. It's even resolves slightly better than the standard 50mm lens & a Nikon Macro. Years ago I ran lens resolution test on those 3 & many others (Coke Bottle bottoms in comparison) with a 2 different high resolution films (High Contrast Copy Film & one was even the Spectroscopic 649 - resolved 1000 lines/mm) the highest resolution film Kodak made. I even got it to work like normal film but the ASA was .25 or .025 I think it was. The higher the resolution the slower the speed. I'd measure the light using a 25 ASA & then open up or increase shutter time 10 stops. A 35mm film could make Billboards prints - it was literally grainless). Not exactly a hand held film. Today a resolution comparison can be checked in a modern camera. Running lens resolution tests on Pan X of the day was a total waste of time. It maxed out at 100 lines/mm & wouldn't fully resolve the best lenses of the day. The Leica 50mm Collapsible lens gave the highest resolution of all lenses I tested at F4. I even used it in my Leitz enlarger. In normal cropping of a 35mm film it worked great. But if I wanted to do a full frame 8x10 I had to use F8 at a slight reduction in resolution. Camera lenses have a rounded sharpness field. Enlarging lenses need a flatter field out to the edges of the flat enlarging paper. Is there any way I could use the Collapsible 50mm on a new Mirrorless Nikon I'd like to try it? I have a lathe & I can make mounts if I have to. I have no trouble with manual focusing. Leica designed that lens using a Slide Rule & Bare Hands literally - not a Computer. Even Kodachrome Slides showed increased resolution.

The adapters I use with my cameras allow AF and auto exposure with non native lenses. So it is just like using a native lens on my cameras, no problems.
