Hickory Run State Park PA Tail end of trip to Hickory Run was a hike on Shades of Death Trail. I probably should have heeded the warning and that the sign was a clue. The last photo came as a pleasant surprise to the end of the hike. When I arrived I saw the chapel and thought if I could find a clearing to get the full building the shot would be interesting, I didn't know there was a waterfall in front of the chapel.

Awesome, I love the chapel.
A great place to visit. I like your shots. Boulder field? Did you visit it, too?
I like the trees in front of the chapel, no need to do a "full chapel only" shot. The environment really adds to the mood of the photo.
I have never been to Pennsylvania but this place would have to be a star for your state or any state.
Very nice images...I'm partial to waterfalls but the Chapel shot is wonderful.
Nice photos--looks like a nice park, too.
Number one is interesting. Not like the usual waterfall pics we see.
No, I passed on the boulder field.
Thanks. Yes PA has a lot of nice places to shoot.
Nice work. Lived in PA, bouncing between Philly and NEPA for forty years and never thought to go to Hickory Run. A rather long drive from Boston.
