Hope these aren't getting too repetitive, but couple more for today. Another "unbalanced" image (apparently I don't mind unbalanced if it works, maybe this does, maybe not). I find an unbalanced shot sometimes makes me stop and look a bit more, maybe even in an "uncomfortable" or mildly disoriented way. Anyway, that is the idea. The execution is another topic. The other, just playing around with color and texture. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

I really like the two photos, but in the first the lines seem a little strong.

Terrific shots. Perhaps a little too much above the model in the first but the "unbalancedness" really works as well as the B&W treatment. Second image is a standout. Love the simplicity and starkness of colour. The rear aspect of the model is a lovely touch too because it provokes and leaves you wanting more. Both images are impressive and very well thought out. Creative, artistic and nicely composed.

What kind of a stage performance was this and how did you ever get a camera in thee? I really like the first one.

Top one is just out of focus. Bottom one has a classical soft focus look or maybe infrared.

We got lucky, someone in the photo club also worked in the theater and he got us access with a model for an afternoon. Was just a great opportunity and one of the best "keeper" rates I have had at a shoot. Thanks everyone for the comments.

The first one’s focus looks soft. Like the pose.
Second one is a favorite.

These show a lot of photographic thought. Good composition, exposure, and tonalities.

Shows an outstanding background in #2 but the figure doesn't seem to be related to it.
