Hi I am a longtime Nikon Film shooter who just got there first DSLR.
I know it's hard to believe, but some just stayed with film.

Just got a Nikkor 105mm F2.8D lens for my D7100 & can't wait to enter
the tiny world. :) Happy to be here looking to learn about Macro Photography.

I also like MF lenses like my 35mm F1.2 Nikkor AIS.

Welcome and good luck to you Marturo.

I found where I can down load my pictures.

As I have come to expect from Photographers
they are a friendly helpful group of fine people.

I have viewed many of your pictures, & only
wish I could see the Exif data. Lenses & F settings
+ shutter speed can teach me a lot.

I do hope to learn how to post process my RAW
photos. Working with Tifs & Jpgs I understand,
Raw well that's new 2 me. :)

Welcome to UHH Marturo, glad you joined us. Great news concerning your eyesight! I also have been a long time Nikon shooter, about 1975. Still have my Nikon FTN and Nikomat.
Have fun, learn and enjoy the forum.

I started using Nikon at 23 and am now 76. I began digital with a D7000,then a D810 and when it met a catastrophic end replaced it with a D850. My wife uses a D7200.

Welcome to the hog

It's great to be back shooting anything and everything.
To shoot a picture & see it is fantastic, my Wife has had
Nikon Coolpix cameras but they were not my SLRs.

At 68 I get to learn shooting RAW & post processing
my pictures all new to me, but all part of Modern
Photography.

Only 3 years ago I discovered that while I could build,
repair the PC. I did not know how to run the darn thing
& so I spent the last 3 years learning how to use the PC.

I understood how it ran & worked but not how to make
folders make libraries, you know work it. Today I have
learned how to use the pc.

So I'm ready to shoot RAW & post process my work.

AKA catching up LOL.

Welcome, I have a Zeiss Iron Contessa, great for travel with, small flat camera idea for carrying around. Good luck in the world of digital cameras.

I remember this camera growing up in the US Army.
He sent to NY City for his film & developing needs.
We think 7 days is too long to wait for our film to be
developed.

My Dad would sometimes be at another Post before
his film was returned. He had his buddies forward the
Negs & prints to him @ anywhere World. :)

After 16.5 years 6 countries & never in the same school
for more than 2 years. I joined the US Navy at 17 &
the rest after 5 years, is Civilian in the USA. :)

I do believe that Digital is much more than meets
the eye. RAW is so much more info than I have used
before. I am intrested in Digital Art from photos
it looks really other worldly.

I have been racking up the Shutter count this spring
can't wait to get out into Mountains.
