Here are a few pics of the Corsair we're restoring here in Adelaide (South Australia) at the moment...the World's oldest known Corsair. we have probably another couple of years to go..
The first pic shows what we started with when the plane was found in Venuatu..the guys doing the work are all volunteers and none have had aircraft experience, all learned as they went. pretty much everything was built by hand as there was almost nothing left of the original plane that could be used again..
I'm the Official Museum Photographer and am keeping a pictorial record of the restoration...

Such wonderful shots documenting the restoration of/ a Great War bird ...starting from the beginning shot of her sitting in the water ..., your shots are as much a part of the restoration project and an important piece in the whole picture .. thnx for posting .., we look forward to the additional restoration coverage ..
