I'm just interested in seeing what folks would do with this image. Just tell me what you see that you would change. thanks in advance
I wouldn't do anything with it. It looks rather nice just as it is. It should prove interesting to see the other's replies.

I like it and would do NOTHING.
If YOU like it that is what really matters and you like it and your family like it thus it is very good.
Great JOB!!!!!!!!!
I think it's a cool shot. Is the horizon level? I have an astigmatism that causes me to see things unlevel, so I'm always conscious of that.

It is a very colorful and interesting image you created. If it were mine I would move the sun a little to the right so it is not like a ping pong from sun to horses nose. My 2 cents

thanks everyone. and yes I think the horizon is a little unlevel. i thought maybe I should take all color out of the horse and rider and make it just a silhouette.

Nope. The level of shadow detail is perfect IMHO. I do think the horizon is a couple degrees off, but straightening it won't lose any part of any significant element.

The original is very nice. The only thing I might try is a black and white conversion with a little added contrast.
Level the horizon...spot out what looks like birds.

Absolutely gorgeous image!! Nothing needed. I might try increasing the shadows just slightly to get the faintest amount of detail in the silhouetted horse and rider just to see how it looks (might ruin it though)

ok, thanks everyone! I will definitely straighten the horizon. I don't think I could move the sun over.....I should have taken the shot a few seconds earlier, but so be it. And I'll look to see what bringing up the color in the horse and rider does. Thanks again!!!
Well done! Ready for hanging on the wall!
Apart from making the horizon straight and taking out the birds its great as is... To move the sun as suggested you would have to move all the reflection in the sea and on the sand..
Wouldn’t change a thing
