I have a passion for photography, I'm self taught for 2 1/2 year's, however, in June, I did hire a pro. for a 4 hour workshop. That was a huge help.
I shoot with Canon, Rebel xsi 450D, and Rebel T2i 550D.
I still have a lot to learn. My weak spot's are composition, and foreground. I'm working on those. I'm a little better.
I always shoot in Raw, and most of the time in manual mode. I do like a challenge. When I'm not at work, I'm out someplace shooting picture's.
I love landscape, nature, animal, macro. This is shoreline lake. shot with Canon EOS Rebel T2i, f/11, 1/640, ISO 200, focal length 55mm, w/b manual and street
This flower is called Black Panther, shot with Canon EOS Rebel T2i , macro lens 60mm f/2.8, 1/ 100, ISO 100 focal length 60mm, metering center weight average, w/b manual

Welcome - from what I know your are doing fine. Always nice to have more to add to the mix with comments, photos and questions. Sounds like you have some very nice equipment, a thrist for knowledge, and drive. Like your pictures. Very nice colors in both. In #1 - I would suggest you move the horizon line either up or down as right in the middle tends to confuse the eye as to which part is being stressed - the sky or water. #2 may be lacking a little sharpness. As always comments from me are to be taken for what you deem them to be worth, or worthless. I would suggest you ask specific questions or requests for feedback on your photos if you wish it- and please don't hesitate to add to the imput of others. I have added a couple just because I can & all are always welcomed to comment if they wish.

thank you very much for the comment's, this is how I learn. On the flower, it was huge, and I forgot my tripod that day, it was a hard shot to get. I like your photo's. The one at the lake, to be honest, I'm not exactly sure where the horizon line is. This is something else that I need to learn.
Thanks again for the comment, and your photo's.
Yes, I do have nice equiptment, I figured that if I was going to learn, it had to be with the good stuff. First I bought it, then I started learning how to use it.
I'm still learning how to navigate this site, I like it here.
