I saw this campaign sign while driving through a very poor rural area of my state. Another sign in this county said "Say No to Socialism". These poor people just don't understand that, without the tax distributions from the liberal states like New York, they would literally be starving. My state (KY) sadly has had 33 percent of the previously employed citizens file for unemployment. In the poor counties. That rate is even higher. Thank goodness that the people that they call "c****es" and "socialists" are paying the bills of the unemployed in our state and many others!

Great poster!

But your statement is a put on, right? "Without the tax distributions from the liberal states like New York, they (KY) would literally be starving." Then why are the great liberal states like New York and Illinois asking for a bailout from the taxpayers to pay for their pensions and debt?

The "c****es" and "socialists" aren't paying the bills of the unemployed in your state. Your unemployment compensation comes from hard working Kentuckians who earn their living in the capitalist workplace there.

Are you suggesting that liberals are of the same mindset as socialists?

The tax distributions you talk about are another liberal f**e news talking point.
State and local taxes in NY and NYC do NOT go outside of the AHJ collecting those taxes.
Federal dollars are distributed by population and again NY and NYC win there again.
Now for the kicker that libs and f**e news base this whole sham on is Medicare and Social Security taxes.
Upon retiring a huge portion of people from NYC and NY move to more tax friendly states, usually rural south or FL or wherever you were.
Thus they paid to the feds money for their social security and medicare then move and collect that money they paid in at a different location. Thus the myth you ignorantly regurgitated.
NO NY or NYC taxes leave the state, only the federal social security and medicare go with the person as they move from a sh..t hole state to a more tax friendly state they can afford to live in once retired.

Most of the money going into Kentucky's unemployment insurance fund comes from the more liberal and wealthier counties which include Louisville and Lexington. Many other benefits received in our poor red state come from the federal treasury which obviously receives more money from wealthy states than poor states.

No, but I frequently hear or read accusations from Trump supporters that liberals are socialists. Our country is a capitalist nation with a social safety net. Trump supporters have their hands out desperately begging for government assistance just as much or more than the liberals who they derride as "socialists".

This is not true and you can't prove it. The only check we have on the socialist welfare state and the Green New Deal of AOC and Bernie and Biden that the liberal Dems want for this country is conservative Trump v**ers.

You might as well just accept the fact that every state will now be in need of federal assistance. Do you believe that your great red states have ever turned down federal money? Just about every state and every citizen desperately has their hand out regardless of party affiliation. Greedy billionaires from corporate America gobbled up the small business stimulus money, but they would pretend to be capitalists and many would believe them. I just find it to be extremely ironic that so many conservatives are pocketing as much federal money as they can while accusing others of being "socialists".

Your conservative fiscal policy ship has sailed and sunk. The national debt is over 25 trillion dollars. It was growing at a ridiculous rate under Trump before the v***s struck. It is now skyrocketing!

I give you a pass because Federal Tax collections and disbursements is a very complicated business where accounting is far more art than science particularly when you run a deficit and spend borrowed money so much.

But do not speak as if you understand it because you heard something on our deceptive MSM!

Cuomo - "New York contributes $116 billion more to the federal government than it gets back and that Kentucky takes $148 billion more than it contributes."

You can dislike the messenger and dispute the exact figures, but you cannot dispute the fact that blue state New York contributes to the federal treasury and the very red state of Kentucky only takes money from the federal treasury. Many of the poor Trump supporters in my state (and West Virginia, MS, ALA, SC, etc.) who blast Democrats as socialists would be homeless and starving without the tax dollars contributed by the blue states. They rant about socialist Democrats as they walk to their mailbox to get their check from Uncle Sam.

Help me understand what you see is wrong with people doing this. People paid for their own Social Security retirement payments. Medicare payments have the same base rate across the country which is then modified for the cost of living by region. The Medicare modifier for Florida is less than the modifier for NY. As far as I can tell, there's nothing wrong with people moving to a state with a lower cost of living when they retire.
