Just finished reading it via my NYTimes subscription. Very worthwhile reading. I was going to post it, but you are "quicker on the draw".
Thanks for posting.

May be a good article but I'm not going to read the NY Toilet Paper Times.

You can either address these real facts or you can believe in ‘alternate facts’ .... I prefer the real facts.

When even the experts have differing opinions, I am not sure how you determine the difference between “real facts” and “alternate facts.” I guess it is like preferring “truth over facts.” Depends on what your “truth” is.

I don’t see any difference in truth spoken by real experts. The ‘alternate facts’ come from politicians who think their words are special.

Was that a response to me? Using "Quote Reply" is an easy way to respond to a specific poster. If it "might be a good article", why limit yourself to narrow minded choices?

If something is a “fact’ I don’t think it matters who states it. Problem is that experts, even real experts, only express opinions based on their interpretation of the facts.

But all the experts agree on masks and ‘social distancing’.

The public heath experts agree on mask usage and on ‘social distancing’. Period

Facts are facts - there are not different sets of facts, no matter how much this administration wants to think so. Opinions are opinions - HOPEFULLY based on an individual's interpretation of the facts - but sometimes opinions come from fools and dullards.... or "dotards".
