Saved this jumping spider from my 5 month old pup the other day! I believe it's a Bold Jumper (Phidippus audax). Comments for improvement welcomed!

Very good! You've got it. A goal to improve would be to extend the focal range a smidge, so with the last one try to get the front feet in focus along with the eyes.

Great photo. While focusing on the front of the spider I'd close the aperture (dof) so more of the subject would be in focus. Just my thoughts. Mahalo for sharing.

it a young one,that orange spot on its back will turn white when it matures.are these cropped? pretty good shooting :-)
