Hi folks, I have been missing here since I retired (12/31/2019) and moved to first floor of my home, which I have been renovating for the past year. Lost the ability to use the computer at work and needed to build a new man cave for my computer operation. Adding to that I am still in the middle of renovations. The good news is since we are isolated in our homes I have been getting a ton of work done and I am making good progress in that effort. On another note, yesterday we had a snow squall in the early morning hours making for an excuse to take a few photographs from my cave window which is in the attic...
I will post one here. BTW the snow was gone by noon time. But we are still experiencing some rather brisk weather.
Glad to be back. Looking forward to joining the discussions once again, and, of course posting photos.
Happy mothers day to all the ladies out there...
Bob
Have a happy retirement and good luck with your renovations. I had to go on disability in 2018. I was sick all last week. I was outside talking to my neighbor and fell flat on face on gravel.
Looks like a wonderful place to live after retirement, photo of the snow is beautiful and hope renovations go well.
Tack sharp work, Bob. I am happy to see the deer can evidently still get something to eat.
Sorry to hear about your fall. Wishing you the best in recovery...Thank you for responding. Wasn't sure if anyone remembered me, lol...
Charles, it is my forever home now. We purchased this property back in the late 90's. My daughter moved in and raised 5 kids here. thus the need for the renovations. We have an in-law apartment on the 2nd floor which my wife and I have used for the past 20 years. My daughter and her husband moved to Texas fall of 2018, I got into the renovations in Jan 2019. Took out several walls and gutted the first floor. Have most of it done now with the bathroom and mud room to finish up and the first floor is done. Next will be the 2nd floor and turn it into a Air BnB... Thank you for your response...
Bob
Hi Mike, thank you for the comments on the sharpness. I appreciate it. You might want to take another look at my deer, though...lol
Thank you I love this place... It's my Happy Place!
