On my Nikon D500, with a Nikkor 18-200mm GII set at 18mm for this series, I took 18 overlapping photos in NEF format from my window early this morning to create this merged image. All were processed in LR and merged through the Automate subroutine of FB 2020. The resulting jpg is 35 meg. I reduced it to ten to post to Facebook and here. Hope you enjoy it.

Your scene is very pretty! My brother wrote me the bad news from Bangor It's going to be 82 here today in central/eastern Washington.

A note about posting to UHH: if you don't enable download (by clicking the "store original" box prior to clicking attach), your result is a thumbnail only 600 pixels wide and 72 kb file size.

The “rule” in Colorado is don’t plant your annuals, or anything else, before Mother’s Day. Last year it snowed on M’s Day!

Pretty shot, thanks.

Yes, snow in May. Just hope we don't get another "Year Without A Summer" like 1816. New England had snow in June and in the mountains of the east and west there was snow in July and August. It was caused by Mount Tambora's eruption in April 1815 putting so much stuff in the air that sunlight was reduced for nearly 2 years before it all cleared out of the atmosphere. Crops failed etc all over the world.

Ha! That was just about the same time I was taking photos all around my house. I'll be posting a few more once I have the time, but, yeah, this weather sure as heck is as screwed up as anything I've ever seen.

Thank you, Linda. Learn something new every day. Never knew that I was shortchanging my photos here until you just came up with that. I think I'll repost it now, keeping in mind your sage advice.

The download fills my 14" Chromebook screen very nicely, and I imagine there are others who view on larger monitors.

The download is fantastic! The weather is screwy alright. We will be getting record breaking cold tonight of 32 degrees or less. Coldest May 9th. in over a hundred years.

Thank you, Cameranut. We had two major squalls just 53 miles upstate from New York City. The temps will also hit 32 or lower tonight. I'm using more heating oil this "spring" than I have ever used in the 16 years we've been in this old house. But the promise is for temps in the 70's next week. Time will tell.
