An Uncanny Negative

This is a simple composite.
When I first looked at the plate glass negative I thought I new the subject of the sculpture - then, when I inverted it, I got a surprise! I wonder if any of the older members here might see why? I should add that it may be more relevant to Brits than Americans. Please download to view.

At first, the negative view on the left resembled Hitler, except for the hair.

That is what I see as well, the King in negative resembles Hilter. Yikes. The hot spot on the king's upper lip looks like a mustache in negative. Weird. I am vaguely aware of the historical event. Also I am familiar with the style of the landscape painting on the wall in the background. Very typically British.

Now you know what I’m getting up to in this lockdown thing Linda. Cataloguing is an extremely slow pastime. But I do have a composite coming together in my mind, just a matter of taking a break from the current job!

Me too in thinking it was Hitler-more from the shadow of a mustache.

An apt juxtaposition...due to the Schicklegruber connection I never cared much for Edward!

I don’t think anyone did really, royalty included.
Good to hear from you Dave, hope you are well. Trying times eh?
