Woodford is indeed among the better bourbons. I suggest, however, you try the double oaked version and forget about placing arbitrary 'daily limit' lines on the bottle. And two ice cubes, of course.

I remember some strange liquor laws over the years. When I was in college, Mich. had 18 drinking age, so we ran up on weekend and party at a bar there. Another weekend we ran down to Tenn. because they had 18 drinking age but I seem to remember that in Tenn had some other strange laws about liquor.

No in both states we had someone one in the house with family. In hind sight, I don't know how our brother in Tenn. Mom handled 30 guys showing up for the weekend. All I remember is she made the best thick cut peppered bacon. When we went to Mich, it was a summer beach house we stayed in and we didn't get any family cooking.
